Jump start your event, promote your products, inspire your women's retreat, add the benefit of an attractive, well-spoken hostess or EmCee with Ahzs. She is available to convey a prepared speech or ad lib through a list of announcments of guests or performers to complete the polished professionalism for your event. An accomplished public speaker, Ahzs provides you with well spoken presentations dressed impeccably to represent you well.

Ahzs, in appropriate costume with belly cover, provides:
1) a 20 minute class session including one dance number, question and answer fact sheet about the art and history of Middle Eastern dance, and a group mini dance lesson. For elementary classes - coloring book with theme about dance as fitness. For Middle and High School Students - a discussion of dance as fitness or dance as a means of healthy self expression and body image acceptance, plus a free music CD.
2) appearance as a character for culture appreciation day.
- Primary and Secondary Public Schools, public library, and retirement home presentations are based upon a sliding scale and availability.

(2) Drum Solo Choreography Workshops w/ Ahzs
WITH LIVE DRUM ACCOMPANIMENT BY XAVIER!!
Requirements: 6 months basic Beginner to Intermediate Level
Note to Beginners: These terms may sound "scary" but the class is not! I break all of these down for you in great detail so it is easy.
Learn an introduction to basic Middle Eastern rythmns and how to "play" them on your body. We will cover Maqsum, Beledi, (4) combos for Sai'di, and Malfuf. Learn to recognize the rythmns when played and how to dance to their unique rythmns in your dance - anywhere, anytime! A great foundation for those beginning in bellydance, and an expansion of technique and combos to those who are beyond beginners and in to intermediate levels. You will walk away from this workshop with immediately applicable rythmn interpretations for use in either Tribal or more Traditional dance.
Also, there is nothing like having a live drummer present to work with on these rythmns. We're glad to have Xavier on the dumbek drumming for this event. Come enjoy this entirely unique drumming and dance experience with us!
Get sizzling with a short, lively, 1:49 new drum solo using beginning moves and techniques to take your dance to the next level. The music is exhilerating and the dance is super-charged for fun! This is great for those beyond beginner/intermediate level dancers who need a drum solo to round out their repitoire or for those beginners who want to jump in and sink their teeth into dancing to percussion only. The style is classical American bellydance (via MIAMI ;-).
Bellydance Cardio Bootcamp with Ahzs
When is the last time you really enjoyed breaking a sweat? Combine high energy music, class participation FUN, lovely and graceful technical skills, and supportive/personal attention to have you up and dancing the beautiful art of bellydance with confidence. We will start with a good stretch, then warm up, dance, cool down, and have lots of comaraderie. Bring yoga mat, water bottle, and be ready to smile, sweat, move and strengthen your body. Beyond Beginner Bellydance with Ahzs
With mystery and gracefulness as warm as the desert sun from which they came, learn the graceful moves of traditional middle eastern dance styles through technique and choreography. Find the hidden expression of beautiful dance within every woman in a supportive, encouraging environment. Enjoy Ahzs' nack of encouraging the dancer inside of you to come out as she teaches you how to become one with the music. Veils and props will be covered as part of the choreographies. - $35/month
